Ben F. Espanto brings a diverse background in marketing, branding and technology to his role as Head of Marketing at Cavalier Associates. Ben has a penchant for everything email & web technology related, including digital marketing, search engine optimization, content marketing and marketing automation. His main focus is lead acquisition and generation from creation of marketing programs such as e-newsletters, drip campaigns and website traffic, as well as management and implementation of marketing automation programs such as Eloqua, Marketo and InfusionSoft and the major revamp of the company website. He is also currently helping in the development of a custom CRM and Marketing Automation tool, catered specifically for the insurance vertical.
Before Cavalier, Ben built the entire marketing infrastructure for the Mironer Law Firm, and was Director of Marketing Technology for UBM Advanstar, in charge of all technology-based marketing programs (Marketo, SFDC integration, social & event app), as well as establishment of email best practices and procedures. Previously, Ben helmed and built the entire marketing department for a VC-funded start-up Saas application company, Spotlight Ticket Management.
Ben got his first taste for SEO as Marketing Director at the Kavinoky Law Firm, where he got his training through the Bruce Clay method. As the department leader, he was responsible for all traditional and web marketing strategies. He was the chief "rain maker," optimizing leads to all the websites and online directories. His targeted Web 2.0, SEO and PPC strategies have increased ROAS while minimizing SEM budget. He believes that time-tested, traditional marketing strategies should be modified and implemented in current web campaigns.

Before the law firm, Ben spent the first 8 years of his career honing his craft in the real estate industry, starting with Coldwell Banker, then Prudential, finally ushering the first set of Sotheby's Realties in Southern California, where he created and cultivated products and services with an emphasis on technology. He was successful in taking a relatively new start-up, backed by a tremendous brand, and made it the best marketer in its niche.
Ben graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology from Woodbury University in Burbank, California.
